Who are we?

Bethel Chapel Church has always been:

An independent church.

That means that we do not belong to any denomination or group of churches. We believe it best that a church govern its own affairs based solely on what the Bible says without interference from powerful religious organizations.

A Bible teaching church.

We believe that God’s Word is sufficient to answer all of life’s questions and that it is the final authority of what is right and wrong.

What is our purpose?

We exist to proclaim Christ, the good news of His offer of forgiveness and to build the principles of Scripture into the lives of believers so that they are joyful and devout followers of Jesus Christ. We strive to teach the truth of God’s Word clearly and without compromise.

How can you know God?

Understand:

God is awesome.“Great is the glory of the LORD” (Ps. 138:5)

God deserves our full devotion.“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.” (Matt. 22:37) “do all for the glory of God” (1 Cor.10:31)

Admit:

You have failed to love & obey God. “For I know that nothing good dwells in me...” (Rom. 7:18) “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Rom. 3:23)

You cannot save yourself. “He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy” (Titus 3:5)

Trust

That Jesus paid the price for all of your sin. “Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures” (1 Cor. 15:3)

Christ by turning away from your sin. “... unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.” (Lk. 13:3) "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Rom. 10:13)
